chris savage

Australian born artist living on the Riveria in the South of France, Chris Savage has been a student of art since her early teens.

Her wide ranging portfolio reflects a great depth in style and medium, which is constantly evolving. Most striking is her new collection of charcoal and pastel pieces on black paper, in a free-flowing abstract style which offers the viewer an insight into Chris’s love of ‘the human figure’ and ‘childlike’ compositions.

Throughout her highly successful career within the mobile computing industry, she continued painting and exploring her creativity through the media of pastel, charcoal, oils and acrylic.

Having studied at The Institute of Brisbane, Australia, The Florence Trust And Central St Martins in London, she has produced an eclectic collection of original artworks.

Now a full time artist based on the Riviera in the South of France, Chris's art has been received with great enthusiasm and encouragement from the art industry.

“All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once one grows up."
